Actress and singer Selena Gomez, Demi’s childhood friend, told Seventeen magazine a funny story about a prom that she and Demi were not even being invited:

“Demi and I were in Toronto for the premiere of PPP and we had an after-party at the hotel. I was listening to dance music, so I went into the hall and there was going on a graduation! And I went up the stairs with Demi. Then we went on the dance floor and started dancing. After a few songs, people started to notice we were there. I was afraid to get in trouble, but all students have left us to be there with them. Even the director came and danced with us! “
