Yesterday (22), it was revealed the list of nominees from the Teen Choice Awards 2013 – FOX awards will happen on August 11. In 2012, Demi Lovato attended the event as a presenter. Of course the singer’s hit ‘Heart Attack’ could not be left off the list, the star was nominated for 3 categories and the program The X Factor USA, in which it acts as a judge, was also nominated. Demi is nominated “Fan Army FTW”, meaning “Best army of fans.” Other artists also contributing to this category are Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, among others.

Demi Lovato has had quite a tumultuous history and who doesn’t love a success story, right? She notoriously dealt with bullying while she was still in school and we are all familiar with her stint in rehab for an eating disorder. Her success on shows like ‘Camp Rock’ and ‘Sonny with a Chance’ as well as her flourishing music career show that nothing can slow her down. Can she add PopCrush Prom Queen to her resume?

Selena Gomez is everybody’s favorite pop starlet and Prom Queen is essentially a popularity contest, so it makes total sense for her to take home the crown.
